Fredrick Glonar Countryman and Maude Ellen Griffith married on 16 Feb 1896 at Midway in Butler County, Kansas. Fred Countryman migrated with his family from Seneca County, New York. Maude Ellen Griffith was born in Kansas soon after her parents migrated from Holmes County, Ohio. Eventually, the couple settled at Fairview in Major County, Oklahoma. A daughter, Fannie Lee Countryman was born at Fairview on 22 Jan 1914.
