I William Patterson of Belmont County and State of Ohio under a consideration of the uncertainty of the duration of this mortal life and being of usual mind and memory do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in the manner and form following viz.

First. I will that all my Just debts be settled.

2nd. I lend unto my beloved wife Elizabeth all my estate both real and personal to enjoy as her own during her natural life: and I herby grant her the full privilege of making such disposition of my personal property as she may think necessary for her convenient accommodation.

3rd At the decease of my said wife I will and demise unto my son Jeremiah the tract of land on which I now dwell as described in deed of conveyance from James and Margaret McLish to me dated the 21st day of the 8th month 1833 To have and to hold the same for himself his heirs and assgns forever.

4th Also at the decease of my wife aforesaid I bequeath unto my sons Jared, Silas, Jeremiah and Exum or their heirs each three dollars in addition to my daughters Silvia Hall, Sarah Rinford, Tabitha Bailey and Rachel Plummer or their heirs to be equally divided among them: that is for the heirs of a daughter who may be deceased to have the same as the daughter would have been entitled to have.

6th lastly. I constitute make and appoint Joseph Garretson and Joseph Edgerton * Executors of this my last will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills by me heretofore made. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this nineteenth day of the ninth month Eighteen hundred and thirty three.
