Doris G. Knoop, 90, died Saturday, June 5, 1999, at Putnam Community Medical Center.
She was born on July 14, 1908, in Jet, Oklahoma. She had been a resident of Hollister for twenty-nine years coming from Hialeah, Fla. She was a member of United Methodist Church of Interlachen. Her affiliations included The Happy Hookers-crochet club, Interlachen Senior Citizens, and working in the thrift store at the church. While in Hialeah, Fla., she worked for W. T. Grant & Co. as a payroll manager for fourteen years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William S. Knoop; daughter, Emma Lee Lightbourn and husband, Jack; son, Shelley Le Roy Knoop and two great-grandchildren.

She is survived by a daughter, Barbara K. Pringle and husband, Eddie of Hollister; sisters, Georgia Morrison of Yucaipa, Calif., Fannie Lee Emmanuel and husband, Robert of DeLand; 20 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, 10 A.M. at United Methodist Church of Interlachen with Rev. Gene Maddon officiating. Burial will follow in Palatka Memorial Gardens.
