Thomas Warren Briscoe (16 Feb 1832 - 30 Nov 1871)
The 1870 federal census of Madison Parish, Louisiana enumerates the household of T. Warren Briscoe and his wife Margaret S. (Scott) Briscoe. T. Warren Briscoe was 39 years of age, born in Mississippi, and working as a farmer. Margaret S. Briscoe was age 36 years and born in Louisiana. Two children were living in the household: Warren Briscoe, age 8; and Flora Briscoe, age 2 years. Both children were born in Louisiana. T. Warren Briscoe and his wife held real estate valued at $12,000 and a personal estate valued at $4,000.
