Rosario Winfrey funeral SaturdayFuneral services for Mrs. Rosario Trezevant Winfrey, 96, a resident of Kirkwood for 70 years, will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Grace Episcopal Church, Kirkwood, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.Mrs. Winfrey died Wednesday, Oct. 5, 1977, at her home.Born in Tallulah, La., her first eight years were spent at "Scotland," her grandparents plantation, which was visited by the Marquis de Lafayette during his American tour in the early 19th Century.Mrs. Winfrey was a member of the Colonial Dames of America and had been active in the Altar Guild of Grace Episcopal Church and as a board member of the Humane Society of Missouri.She is survived by a son, Trezevant B. Winfrey, with whom she lived.
