Biography notes for William Sydnor
William Sydnor was a son of William Sednor of Egerton.
William Sydnor made a will on 29 Oct 1514. He left a dwelling house in exeter to his wife Joan Sednor for the duration of her life and then to their children. He made bequests to his daughters Elizabeth Sednor and Kathryn Sednor, and left 40 pounds sterlling to each of his sons, Richard and Paul Sednor.
William Sydnor named his executors as guardians of his son Paul until he reach the lawful age.
Blackfriars Monastery was located between the River Thames and Ludgate Hill. Ludgate Hill is the site of Saint Paul’s Cathedral.
