John Dennis of Jones County being now at my brother's in Talbot County in a state of good health and presence of mind through the mercy of God, having this in presence of mind when I left home without any persuasion or compulsion to make my will. I wish for these to be a distribution of all property both real and personal to the three named persons after my death, for to administer and sell according to law and divide it in this way after all debts if any and expense is paid let there be an equal division between my wife Chalotte, & my brother Peter excepting my brother William to have one thousand dollars of my estate is my last will & testament. Given from under my hand & seal this sixteenth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty two.
