Ida Catherine Emanuel daughter of David and Catherine Emanuel was born in Tarpleton, Talbot county, Georgia, Dec 1 1862, died at the home of her brother R. J. Emanuel, Dec. 29, 1940, at the age of 78 yrs, and 29 days.

Her mother and father, 2 brothers and 2 sisters have preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her loss, 3 Brothers, Frank of Oklahoma City, Mark of Los Angeles, Ralph of Erick, with whom she had always lived.

With her parents she came to Henrietta Clay County at an early age then moved to Weatherford Parker County, Texas, about 39 yrs ago she with her father and brother Ralph moved to Oklahoma, where she has since lived.

She was converted at the age of 12, and joined the Baptist Church and has lived a consistent Christian life up to the time of her death, having been a member of the Baptist Church at Erick for over 30 yrs.
