In the Name of God Amen. The last day of March one Thousand seven Hundred and twenty six years I William Miller of King George County and Parish of Hanover, planter, being of perfect sense and memory praise be to the Almighty God, do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following.
Item: I give and bequeath to my Dear Wife Mary Miller the use of this Plantation and its buildings woods &c during her lifetime and after her decease to my son Simon and his heirs forever.
Item: I give and bequeath to my son Benjamin that Plantation on the other side of the swamp with all parts and pertinants to him and his heirs forever and order that no more of it shall be cleared nor the timber in any way wasted nor cut down but reserved to the proper use of my aforesaid son till he comes to age himself.
Item: I give and bequeath all my household furniture with my cattle, hogs, horses, sheep and negros equally to be divided amongst my Dear Wife and all my children except Negros James and Philles and their issue I give and bequeath to my aforesaid son Simon and he is to have them in actual possession when he comes to age.
Item I do order and constitute that none of my sons shall be for themselves till they be at age - providing my Dear Wife doth not marry and in case of marriage if they have Christian usage and well dealt by in no manner of way to absent themselves without their mother's consent.
This being my last Will and Testament given under my hand and seale before these witnesses the day of the month and years of our Lord written above Written.
Note: My son Simon is not to come in sharers with the rest of my children but I freely bequeath unto him a cow and calf with one of the best of my beds with furniture, viz: two pillows a bolster with blankets and sheets and he the said Simon to have them when he is at age.

At a Court held for King George County on Friday the first day of July Anno Dom 1726.
This Last Will and Testament of William Miller deceased, was this day proved in open Court by the Oaths of Simon Miller and Blumfeild Long two of the witnesses thereto subscribed and Admitted to record. Mary Miller the widow and relict of the said Testator being dead, and the Court taking into consideration that the Estate of the said Decedent being perishable do grant Certificate unto John Miller (how having taken the Oath by law appointed for obtaining letters of Administration with the annext in due form
