The Cedar Creek Monthly Meeting, also called Caroline and Circular Monthly Meeting; now Richmond Monthly Meeting, was established in 1739 from the Henrico-Curles Monthly Meeting. Counties within the bounds of the Cedar Creek Monthly Meeting: Hanover, New Kent, Caroline, Louisa, Orange, Bedford, Campbell, Albemarle, Halifax, parts of Charles City, Amelia, Goochland, and Henrico. Particular meetings included Orange (or Douglas’) in Orange County, Virginia established in 1748.
