Robert Thomas Scott
Following Civil War he returned to Tallulah, Louisiana and served as newspaper reporter and editor of Madison Journal. In later years, he made his home with his sister, Margaret Scott, in Iowa Park, Wichata County, Texas. Family tradition is that he realized his death was approaching and he told his sister to use the $20 gold piece in his trunk for funeral expenses. The cemetery lot was purchased with the gold piece; he is buried in Stone - Emanuel lot.
